The TikTok app first launched by Chinese company ByteDance in 2016, has already surpassed other big companies such as Instagram, Facebook and Twitter in terms of growth and engagement.

In fact, TikTok has already registered 800 million active users that enjoy the app creating short-form music-focused videos and editing them with filters and special effects.

TikTok is also attractive because it has been showing to be a powerful marketing tool. It’s not a surprise that all the most famous influencers jumped on it in the early period and now the app is also offering paid advertising options.

What makes TikTok interesting are the great earning opportunities that the app offers, and the highest-paid TikTokers have demonstrated it.

As for how much Tiktokers make, one of the biggest TikToker is Charli D’Amelio who currently has more than 90 million followers and reportedly earns $25k to $40k per sponsored post.

Also profiles with fewer followers have big earning, such as Drage Kamerman with 2.2M followers and said he makes $7k to $10k every few weeks.

With so many losing income due to the coronavirus, it’s not a surprise that a lot of people are looking for new ways to make revenues. And the app offers this opportunity. In fact, there are a lot of ways to make money on TikTok. Here’s a shortlist of the best options:

  • Join the TikTok creator fund
TikTok decided to reward the best TikTok creators by paying them. The earning is calculated on the base of the engagement and the activity.
  • Go live and collect donations
Once a profile reaches 1k followers, there is the go-live option that is actually an earning opportunity. In fact, people can donate coins that can be converted into real money by the creator.
  • Become an influencer
This option could take more time than the others, but it’s the one that brings to higher earning opportunities. So, it is worth it to give a try. Grow your profile, find a niche and try to get noticed by big brands.

TikTok certainly isn’t as well as established as YouTube, but chances to make a living from the app are pretty high, even if it requests time and a bit of effort.

So, it probably won’t pass a long time before being a TikToker will be considered a proper profession.
